You'll find the answers to common queries about the conference, tickets and other matters below. If you've still got questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

While EnviroPAST is designed for young people aged 12-24, we welcome anyone interested to attend regardless of age.

In saying that, we do generally require attendees to at least be high school aged. In the past, younger participants have found the conference content to be too challenging as much of it relies upon an early high school level knowledge. There can be exceptions to this and we encourage you to get in touch with us if you have a younger person who is very keen to attend EnviroPAST.

You can find the programme for EnviroPAST 2022 here. Speaker and workshop announcements are currently ongoing, so keep an eye out on our social media channels and website for their release!

Unfortunately, EnviroPAST is only taking place in Wellington in 2022.

EnviroPAST can only take place under Traffic Light Orange or lower; if New Zealand is at Red, the conference won’t be able to go ahead. If this is the case, we’ll let you know and will fully refund the cost of your ticket.

We believe that all young people deserve access to environmental education and networks. As such, we offer scholarships that enable young people otherwise unable to attend EnviroPAST to attend the conference at no cost. If you or someone you know would benefit from a scholarship, we encourage you to fill out the application form.

The best way to enjoy EnviroPAST is to stay for the entire conference, but if you need to leave at some point that’s totally ok! For catering and health and safety purposes, we’d appreciate it if you could let us know when you’ll be leaving by emailing us at

Refunds are available up to one day before the conference or in the event that it is cancelled due to COVID-19 or related matters. We will only refund tickets less than one day before the conference if you are unable to attend due to certified medical issues or bereavement.

To request a refund, get in touch with us.

Scholarship recipients who are no longer able to attend the conference, due to reasons other than certified medical issues or bereavement, must notify the organisers by emailing no later than 11.59pm on the 2nd of July. Failure to do so may result in you having to pay the conference fee of $15 to the organisers.

The conference follows the COVID-19 regulations set out by Victoria University. From Tuesday 26 April, staff, students, contractors and visitors will no longer need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to enter their campuses or take part in face-to-face University activities (other than in the areas within our community where vaccination continues to be mandatory under Government guidelines). This means that EnviroPAST attendees are not required to be vaccinated.
